Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1, combines two of the most important baby items: the strollers and infant car seats. It makes it so much easier to take public transportation (and walk up and down stairs).
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the world's first completely integrated travel system that allows you to switch between your car seat and stroller in seconds without disturbing your sleepy baby.
Easy to Use

Parents should have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These systems allow you to effortlessly change between running errands, or walking the dog and going for a run. You can also keep up with the changing needs of your child so you can have fun with your family adventures. Our testers are impressed by how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they have a single front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo, the BOB Alterrain pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are simple to maneuver. However, even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pushed with one hand.
Certain models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, but. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps however it could lead to dangerous results.
Certain models are also more difficult to fold and store than others, making them less practical. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and bulky frame. Some users also find the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold with just a push of a button and a pull of the lever. This model is also a great choice for parents who intend on using their car seat on other vehicles as it is able to be easily removed from the base and then attached to any standard stroller.
Easy to Fold
It should be easy to fold and unfold the car seat, whether you're storing it in your trunk or the closet. The most efficient combinations we've tried fold easily with one hand and are strong enough to be used on long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, gliding effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. We've seen some combinations that can only be connected or removed using straps, which can seem like an extra step and make it difficult for parents to secure the car seat properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent option due to its sturdy construction and convenient features, including a large storage bin that can be accessed from either the front or back. SafeCenter LATCH, a unique feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, makes it easy to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tight.
It's also relatively lightweight, making it a great option for frequent travellers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored very well in our ease of use tests. Both come with a single front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed! ) and stroller 2 in 1 car seat with a variety of angles which is ideal for shopping or running errands. The only downside is that they're very heavy and therefore it's difficult to lift them up when carrying a child in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Certain car seat and stroller combinations are difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together. It even comes with a quick-start guide which makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models we tested, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to assemble. However, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps - connecting the lower anchors and using straps to cover the bottom portion of the carrier. It's also heavy, so it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base and detach it from there.
In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together, which is a bit fast when you consider the time it saves by not having to take out all of the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
